Wood framed windows and doors need regular repairs
This not only saves time, but money on treatment products for wood or ferrous metals (paint, stain etc.). PVCu only requires the occasional wipe down with a wet cloth.

Improving the appearance of your home
Poor quality wooden windows and doors suffering from the ravages of time can be replaced with a range new styles and shapes, significantly changing and improving the look of your home, giving it "kerb appeal". This is true also for roofline products

Greatly improved security
It is sad to say, but crime is a steadily growing problem. Poorly secured doors and windows are an open invitation for burglars. PVCu window systems as a rule incorporate several extra security features, such as special locks, multiple locking points as well as tamper resistant frames, glazing points and hinges.

Better performance in bad weather
Curtains moving with the wind? Even when the windows are closed? Chilly draughts from your windows? Does rain drip in from around your windows? Our PVCu windows provide proven and excellent weather performance and are tested to withstand gale force conditions.

Reduced noise
Cut down on outside noise, be it traffic, neighbours or seagulls. Our range of double glazed PVCu windows significantly decreases the amount of noise that can get through your windows for a quieter, peaceful home.

Energy efficient
Out current range of double glazed windows offer much better insulation than conventional single glazed windows and with cutting edge techniques are even better at insulating your home from draughts or noise than double glazing installed more than ten years ago. These new window designs help to keep the heat in, so you can turn the heating down a few degrees and save on fuel bills without getting cold during the winter.

Energy Saving Recommended Scheme from the Energy Saving Trust

Manufacturers in the UK voluntarily submit their windows for energy-efficiency testing and certification. This is now more important than ever to the organisations. Consumers are currently much more aware of energy saving products and environmental issues. This is continually increasing with so many people becoming more aware of the financial benefits and savings that can be made. The Energy Saving Trust supports the British Fenestration Rating Council’s (BFRC) domestic window energy rating scheme (WER) which offers accreditation any window rated ‘band-C’ or higher. This helps consumers to readily compare the energy efficiency of competing products using a easy to recognise mark and grade.

Look for the energy saving recommended logo when selecting your new double-glazed windows, doors or conservatories. You can then be sure they are the most energy efficient products available. Manufacturer’s window products are now be assessed on a rating of A-G, the assessment is based on the whole window, the glass, seals and frame work. These grades are issued from the British Fenestration Ratings Council.
